Can you believe it’s almost August 29th, and you know what that means, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is opening! Disney is already sending out disclaimers to guests that capacity is limited and you might be restricted from even entering Hollywood Studios.
Hearing a park could be at capacity can certainly put a damper on your trip. In true Disney fashion, they’re giving us a little extra magic. Starting August 29th free Extra-Extra Magic Hours will debut at Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom parks. However, Hollywood Studios will be opening at 6:00 am from August 29th- 31st. Extra, Extra Magic hours for HS will begin September 1st from 6 am – 9 am and end on November 2nd.
Don’t be upset if you can’t get into Hollywood Studios! The Magic Kingdom will be open for Extra, Extra Magic hours starting on August 29th and ending November 2nd, 2019! That means you can go see that glorious castle bright and early, the extra hour will be 7 am-8 am! I’m sure you’ll be able to get some great shots in front of the castle at that time!
If the Magic Kingdom isn’t your style the Animal Kingdom is getting some extra love as well! The Extra, Extra Magic hours will be the same as Magic Kingdom and run the same dates. If you don’t care about seeing Opening Day for Star Wars land, I suggest hitting up one of these parks nice and early.
I know what you’re thinking, what about Epcot? They will continue to have regular extra magic hours on select days. I think Epcot isn’t getting the same magical hours because they are in the middle of some renovations.
Remember, these extra hours require a park pass and you need to be staying on Disney property!
So is anyone excited for these early mornings, or are you staying away from them? Let me know in the comments what you think of them!
