It’s so crazy how fast this year is flying, I can’t believe it’s already holiday time! I’m not sure about you but around this time every year I pull out my Disney cookbooks and flip through them. There’s something that makes being in the kitchen around these times so enjoyable.
I happened to be flipping through my Festivals cookbook I purchased in Epcot last year, and landed on a recipe from the Festival of Holidays at Disney’s California Adventure. I’ve sadly never been to DCA, however this cocktail might have me on a flight next week!
A POMEGRANATE MULE?! Sign me all the way up! If there’s one thing I love it’s rosemary in drinks around holiday time. It provides this added level of sophistication to your drink, maybe I’m just crazy though. I thought I’d share this recipe with y’all so you can share it with your loved ones on Thanksgiving or even Christmas! When you’re on your second or third one of these just remember that pomegranates are full of antioxidents!
The best part of this recipe is that it’s only a couple ingredients! Let’s get into that recipe!
What you’ll need:
- 1 1/4 ounce of Vodka
- 2 ounces of pomegranate juice
- 1/2 ounce of pomegranate syrup
- 4 ounces of ginger beer
- Pomegranate seeds and a sprig of rosemary for garnish (optional)
What you’ll do:
Fill a copper mug if you’re feeling traditional, or any cup really with ice. Add vodka, pom juice, and pom syrup to a cocktail shaker with some ice and give it a quick little shake. Strain it right into your mug or cup and top with ginger beer. Add your pom seeds and rosemary and enjoy!
An OBJESSED Tip –
If you’ll be making these for a crowd, it is SO much easier to buy the pomegranate seeds instead of a whole pomegranate and doing all that work! I promise your guests will want more and probably want to spend time with you instead of watching you try to disassemble a pomegranate all night! DRINK RESPONSIBLY!
